MANCHESTER – Franklin “Daryl” Darrell Boyd, 64, of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home in Manchester, PA.  He is the husband of Doris “Dutch” (Love) Boyd.

Daryl was born on July 24, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland and was the son of the late Ira J. Boyd, Sr. and Helen Alberta (Krannebitter) Boyd.

He graduated in 1979 from York County Vo-Tech in York, PA.  He owned and operated Frank Boyd Communications in Manchester, PA.  He was a member of Christian Motorcycle Association, COD Gospel Jam and Calvary Temple Assembly of God in York, PA.

In addition to his wife, Daryl is survived by one son, Stephen Boyd of York, PA; his daughters, Jessica Enterline and her spouse, Dane of York Haven, PA; Brittney Boyd and her spouse, Hannah of York, PA; Kimberly Runkle and her spouse Jeffrey of Red Lion, PA; Sarah Derr of SC and Katelyn Billet and her spouse Rex of Red Lion, PA; fourteen grandchildren, his siblings, Sandra Cline, Ira J. Boyd, Jr. and his partner, Patrick Hayes, Michael J. Boyd, Susan Hunter and her husband Daniel, and multiple nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister Catherine Mae Boyd.

Daryl’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 17, 2025, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  His viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 16, 2025, and Monday 10:00 to 11:00 AM both at the funeral home. His burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, York, PA.  Officiating at the service will be his pastor Reverend Dr. Benny Ortiz.
