Gary L. Krebs

YORK – Gary L. Krebs, 86, of York, passed away, Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Dallastown Nursing Center in Dallastown, PA.  He was the husband of the late Delores A. (Doll) Krebs who died on March 30, 2018.

Gary was born June 15, 1938, in Saginaw, PA and was the son of the late James and Julia (Shermyer) Krebs.

He graduated in 1955 from Manchester Senior High School in Manchester, PA and later from Penn State York.  He previously was employed by Superior Box Company in Mount Wolf and later was the owner and operator of H & A Corrugated Box Company, Inc., in North York.   He was a member of the Susquehanna Lions Club in Mount Wolf, Blind Center of York, York Quarter Back Club and the YMCA.

Gary is survived by nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Krebs, Richard Krebs, Robert Krebs, and Ray Krebs, and his sisters, Fae Gingerich and Rosetta Feese.

A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  His visitation will be from 10:00 AM t0 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.  His burial will be private.  Officiating at Gary's service will be Pastor Alan Harbold.
