Glenn R. Myers
MANCHESTER – Glenn Ray Myers, 92, of Manchester, passed away, Sunday, January 7, 2024, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Janet Marie (May) who he married 65 years ago on October 11, 1958.
Glenn was born September 3, 1931, in York Haven and was the son of the late Levi and Sara (Jennings) Myers.
He graduated in 1949 from Manchester High School in Manchester. He was employed for over 30 years by Cole Steel in York before retiring in 1993. Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Glenn’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 15, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. His viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday at the funeral home. His burial will be private in Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, PA. The York County Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors at the funeral home.
