MOUNT WOLF- Glenn Olan Weirich, 78, passed away on August 29, 2026 at his sons home in Manchester, PA. He was the husband of the late Carol L. (Heagy) Weirich who passed away on February 15, 2026.
Glenn was born May 23, 1948, in Mount Wolf, PA and was the son of the late Chester E. and Eula (Hoover) Weirich.
He graduated from Northeastern High School and later worked at St. Regis Company and then H&A Corrugated Box Co., Inc. He retired from York Suburban School District after working for 15 years as a custodian. He was a member of the Susquehanna VFW Post 2493 in Mount Wolf, the Liberty Club in North York, and the Hawks Club in Pleasureville, PA.
Glenn is survived by his sons, Steve Weirich, Tim Weirich and his wife Margie, and Jeff Weirich and his wife Andrea, all of Manchester, PA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Larry, Nevin, Robert, and Dave Weirich; and his sisters, Pat Kindig, Peg Senft, and Karen Nicholas. In addition to his wife, Glenn is preceded in death by his brother, Royce Weirich, and his grandson, Kyle Weirich.
His memorial service will begin at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. His visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. His burial will be private. Officiating at his service will be Reverend Jason Weirich.
