MOUNT WOLF – Gloria L. (Smith) Miller, 85, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Normandie Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York.  She was the wife of the late Harold Miller who passed away April 4, 2008.

Mrs. Miller was born September 12, 1936, in York and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Dorothy (Simpson) Smith.

She attended West York High School in West York.   Mrs. Miller retired in 1998 from York Hospital after more then 30 years of employment.  She was a member of Northeastern Senior Center and St. John Lutheran Church both in Mount Wolf. 

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughters, Sharon Moomaw and her companion Richard of York Haven, Joyce Brodbeck and her husband Doug of Mount Wolf; her son, Doug Miller and his wife Tracy of Red Lion; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and her brothers, Jerry Smith, Garry Smith and Kerry Smith all of York and Jim Smith of Dover.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Cody, and her brothers, Steve Smith, Herb “Junior” Smith, Jerald Smith and Jay Smith.

Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 9, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11;00 AM Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in York.  Officiating at the service will be her pastor Reverend Jason Northridge from St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf.
