Goey L. Myers

MOUNT WOLF – Goey L. Myers, 70, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Friday, July 7, 2023, at his home in Mount Wolf.  He was the husband of Sue Ella M. (Campbell) Myers who he married 54 years ago on May 31, 1969.

Goey was born December 1, 1952, in York and was the son of the late Grant and Mary (Bechtel) Myers.

He was employed by Codorus Stone and Supply and later Kinsley Construction, both of York. 

Goey is known for his love of collecting Hot Wheels.  He loved spending time at flea markets, on-line sites, auctions and even Target to find cars needed to complete a set.

In addition to his wife, Sue Ella, Goey is survived by his son, Jody Myers, and his wife Kelly of Manchester; his daughter, Michele Myers of Mount Wolf; three grandchildren, Grant, Emily and Drake, and his sister, Ginger King of Mount Wolf.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Myers, Gene Myers, and David Myers.

A Celebration of Life Service for Goey, will be held at a later date.  His burial will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
