Gordon E. Bosley, III

MANCHESTER - Gordon Eugene Bosley, III, 45, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 2, 2022, at his home. He was the loving companion of Holly Crerand of Manchester.

Gordon was born October 29, 1976, in Hanover and was the son of Vickie (Myers) Bosley Tyler of York Haven and the late Gordon Eugene Bosley, Jr.

He was known as a jokester and loved spending time with his children. He worshipped at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mount Wolf.

In addition to his companion and mother, Gordon is survived by his two sons, Jared Bosley and Devin E. Bosley; his daughter, Ella B. Bosley; his brothers, Zachary L. Bosley of York, Gene R. Bosley of Hanover and special friend who Gordon considered as a brother, Chad Oberdick of Glen Rock; his sisters, Amy A. Lookingbill of Manchester and Carrie M. Knaub of Dover, and extended family Thomas and Denise Crerand of Mount Wolf, Jason Crerand of Mount Wolf, Michael Crerand of York and Kate Crerand of York.  Gordon leaves behind 11 nephews and 5 nieces to cherish his memory. Gordon was preceded in death by his stepfather, Kevin Lee Tyler; his maternal grandmother, Gretna Myers, and his paternal grandfather, Gordon Bosley, Sr.

The Bosley family, including his mother, siblings, and other immediate family members, will hold an outdoor Celebration of Life service during the summer.   The Crerand family will hold a memorial service for Gordon beginning at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022, at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 131 Center Street, Mount Wolf. Officiating at his service will be his pastor Reverend Mark Zortman. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
