Gregory R. Johnson, Sr.

DOVER – Gregory R. Johnson, Sr. 61, of Dover, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at UPMC York Memorial Hospital.

Greg was born, April 22, 1962, in York and is the son of Dale and Linda (Haas) Johnson of York.

He graduated in 1981 from York County Vo-Tech in York.  He was employed by Garrod Hydraulics in York as a Chrome Plating Manager.

In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his son, Gregory R. Johnson, II, and his wife Amanda of Felton, and his sister, Beth Dunlap, and her husband Melvin of Dover.

Memorial service for Greg will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  His visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.  His burial will be private.  Officiating at the service will be Reverend James E. Winter, Sr.
