Hope M. (Baskette) (Baublitz) Sirera

YORK – Hope M. (Baskette) (Baublitz) Sirera, 61 of York, passed away, Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York, PA.  She was the wife of Richard Sirera.

Hope was born on December 10, 1964, in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of the late William and Kate (Marino) Baskette.

She graduated in 1982 from Randallstown High School in Baltimore, MD.  She was employed as an accountant before retiring.  She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in York, PA.

In addition to her husband, Hope is survived by her sons, Andrew Baublitz and his wife, Sara, Timothy Baublitz and his wife Jessica, Ryan Baublitz and his wife Amber, her step-sons, Michael Sirera and his wife Megan, Christopher Sirera and David Sirera; one grandson, Jude Baublitz; her sister, Lisa Drayer, her stepsisters, Ginger Belsinger and Judy Devlin; her brothers, Mark Baskette, Lawrence Baskette, Michael Baskette, Kevin Baskette, and Kenneth Baskette, and her step-mother, Beverly Baskette.  She was preceded in death by her brother, William Baskette, Jr.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Bible Baptist Church, 4190 North Susquehanna Trail, York, PA.  Her visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the church.  Her burial will be private.  Officiating at her service will be Pastor William Shutt.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
