Janet H. Del Prete

YORK – Janet Hope (Greenleaf) Del Prete, 102 of York, passed away surrounded by her daughters on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Seton Springwood in York, PA.  She was the wife of the late Charles C. Del Prete who passed away, April 4, 2021.

Janet was born February 14, 1924, in Englewood, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Winfield and Veronique (Chaminade) Greenleaf.

She lived in Bergen County, NJ for 80 years and then relocated to Red Lion, PA. She was employed by Bendix in the 1940’s contributing to the war effort.  She was most proud of earning her BSN nursing degree from Bergen Community College in her 50’s.  She worked at Bergen Pines County Hospital in Paramus, NJ.  She attended Living Word Community Church in Red Lion, PA.

She is survived by her four daughters, Linda Agrati and her husband, Guy, Barbara Doll and her husband Lynn, Carol Arslanian, and Jean Feichtl and her husband Herb Norman; her grandchildren, Neal, Keith, Tony, Jill, Cindy, John, Michael, Patty, Jeff, Angela and Barry; her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Eliana, Hannah, Emma, Ethan, Molly, Bryson, Brynne, Riley, Emma, Dihllyn, Grayson, Adriana, Parker, Luke, Mikey, Jack, Caroline, Catherine, and Wesley, and her special friends, Eileen, Geri, and Rosa at ROCOTO.  She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alicia, her sisters, Claire Greenleaf and Ruth Dymond and her brother, Winfield Greenleaf, Jr.

Her burial and service will be private at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
