YORK - Janice H. (Hoke) Brothers, 75, of York, passed away at 3:20 AM, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home.  She was the wife of William L. Brothers who she married 54 years ago on August 7, 1966.

Janice was born September 13, 1945 in Bedford, UK and was the daughter of the late Glenn and Joan (French) Hoke.

She graduated from Lakenheath American High School, England.  She was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church in York. 

In addition to her husband, William, Janice is survived by her daughter, Reta Morgan and her husband Brian of York; her son, Daniel Brothers of York and her sister, Jennifer Stuart of GA.  Janice was preceded in death by her brothers, George Hoke, Stephen Hoke, Kenneth Hoke and infant twin brother, Glenn Hoke.

Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Manchester Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.  Officiating at the service will be her pastor Reverend Brian McClinton from Mount Zion Lutheran Church in York.
