YORK – Jean Mary (Ruby) Bupp, 93, of York, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Manor Care Dallastown.  She was the wife of the late Donald J. Bupp who passed away May 6, 2020. 

Mrs. Bupp was born July 31, 1928, in Emigsville, PA. and was the daughter of the late Warren and Gertrude (Adleblute) Ruby.

She graduated from North York High School and was employed by York Casket Company in York for over 30 years.  She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Emigsville.

Mrs. Bupp is survived by her daughters, Theresa Good and her companion, Mark Herchelroath of Hanover and Belinda Gruver of Millersburg, PA; 4 grandchildren, Lynn, Ryan, Melissa and Jess; 7 great grandchildren and 6 great great children.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Frank, her sister, Betty Gotwalt and her brother, William Ruby.

Mrs. Bupp’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Hoover’s Cemetery in Mount Wolf, East Manchester Township.  Officiating at her service will be Reverend James Winter, Sr.
