ETTERS – Jeanette M. (Bowman) Hoover, 63, of Etters, passed away, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at home in Etters.  She was the wife of Timothy J. Hoover, who she married 38 years ago on September 7, 1985.

Jeanette was born March 21, 1961, in Frackville, PA and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Sabadish) Bowman.

She graduated in 1979 from Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, PA.   Later Jeanette graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College as a Registered Nurse.  She was employed by Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill for over 12 years and was also employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield.  In her spare time, Jeanette loved playing ball with her grandchildren, gardening, reading, loved the ocean and spending time with her husband and family at their beach home in Ocean City.  She especially enjoyed dining out for a good crab cake at the shore.

In addition to her husband, Jeanette is survived by her son, James Hoover, and his wife Teran of Etters; her four grandchildren, Kiana, Calleigh, Gavin, and Bailey, and her brothers, William Bowman of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Gary Bowman of South Carolina.

Jeanette’s service and burial will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
