Jeffry A. Archer, Sr.

MOUNT WOLF – Jeffry A. Archer, Sr., 79 of Mount Wolf, passed away, Sunday, March 6, 2022, at his home in Mount Wolf.  He was the husband of Donna (Wilt) Archer who he married 59 years ago on June 23, 1962.

Jeffry was born November 8, 1942, in York and was the son of the late Grover J. and Margaret (Brenneman) Archer.

He was employed by Johnson Controls in York for 35 years before retiring in 2002.  He was a former member of the Wago Club in Mount Wolf.

In addition to his wife, Donna, Jeffry is survived by his son Jeffry A. Archer, Jr. and his wife Nancy of York and his brothers, Grover T. Archer of York and Dana L. Archer of South Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonia Archer and his sister Barbara A. Garman.

His funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 11, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Friday at the funeral home.   Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.  Officiating at his service will be Reverend James Winter.
