Jill W. Sherman

YORK - Jill W. (Wolf) Sherman, 74, of York, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Hospice and Community Care. 

Jill was born September 30, 1946 in York and was the daughter of the late George H. Wolf, Jr. and Dorcas (Eimerbrink) Wolf.

She attended Northeastern High School in Manchester.  She retired in 2012 from Assurant Solutions in York and previously was employed by Conewago Elementary School in the cafeteria  and FCI Electronics.  She enjoyed being with her family and friends, crafting and taking care of her 2 cats.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in York.

Jill is survived by her son, Eric W. Sherman of York and two special friends, Helen Burns and Roxann Fahs.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Smeltzer.

Services and burial for Jill will be private.  In the interest of safety a memorial service will be held in the coming months.  Arrangements have been entrusted the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
