JoAnn Staub

ETTERS – JoAnn (Guistwhite) Staub, 86 of Etters, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Sara A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle, PA.  She was the wife of Glenn E. Staub, whom she married nearly 67 years ago on July 19, 1959.

JoAnn was born on September 22, 1939, in Newberry Township, York County, and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Gladys (Thumma) Guistwhite.

She graduated in 1957 from New Cumberland High School in New Cumberland, PA.  She was the manager of her family business Midway General Store in Newberrytown, PA.  She volunteered with Relay for Life and One Room School House Committee and was a member of Ambassador Bible Chapel in Manchester, PA.

In addition to her husband, JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Christal Staub of Etters, PA and her son, Todd Staub and his wife Stephanie of East Berlin; her granddaughter, Alexis, and her three great grandchildren, Jaydn, Joy, and Jamison. JoAnn was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jamie Dunn.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:30 AM, Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Paddletown United Methodist Church, 355 Church Road, Etters, PA.  Her visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, Thursday, at the church.  Officiating at her service will be Pastor Ryan Whisel.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
