John C. Kunkle

YORK – John C. “Johnny” Kunkle, 65, of York, passed away, Thursday, September 14, 2023, at York Hospital.  He was for many years the companion of Cindy Wilson of Gettysburg, PA.

Johnny was born February 22, 1958, in York and was the son of the late John and Irene (Bixler) Kunkle.

He graduated from York County Vo-Tech in York, PA. He was a self-employed Automobile Mechanic and also delivered the York Daily Record newspaper for over 35 years.

Johnny is survived by family and friends.

A memorial service for Johnny will begin at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  His visitation will be from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.  Officiating at his service will be Reverend James E. Winter, Sr.
