MOUNT WOLF – Johnnie K. Bare, Jr. 66, of Mount Wolf, East Manchester Township, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 2, 2023.  He was the longtime companion to Lynette Moul for 26 years.

Johnnie was born May 29, 1957, in York and was the son of the late Johnnie K. Bare, Sr. and Kathryn (Free) Bare.

Before his retirement, he served the community of East Manchester Township for 31 years on the Road Maintenance Crew.

In addition to Lynette, Johnnie is survived by his sister, Connie Krout of York Haven; his brother-in-law, Jeff Krout of York Haven; his niece Allison Bray and his nephew, Jarrod Krout, both of York Haven and his life longtime friend, Mike Ellis of Mount Wolf.

Johnnie’s service and burial will be private.   Arrangement have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
