Josephine Kellett
MOUNT WOLF – Josephine (DeStephano) Kellett, 85, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Thursday, April 13, 2023, at her home in Mount Wolf. She was the wife of the late John Kellett who passed away April 17, 2018.
Mrs. Kellett was born May 1, 1937, in York and was the daughter of the late Philip and Charlotte (Terrasi) DeStephano.
She graduated in 1955 from York Catholic High School in York. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf and Holy Infant Catholic Church in Manchester.
Mrs. Kellett is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Kramer of Mount Wolf; her sons, Thomas Kellett and his wife Marie of York, and Michael Kellett and his wife Cathi of Shelton, CT; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister, Madeline Frank of Dover, and her brother, Russell DeStephano of York. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lily, Stella and Annie and her brothers, Philip, Carmen, John, Joe, Chris and Liberio.
A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Kellett will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 17, 2023, at Holy Infant Catholic Church, 535 Conewago Creek Road, Manchester, PA. A visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday at the church. Her burial will be private in Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, PA. Officiating at her Memorial Mass will be the Very Reverend William Forrey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
