Joshua A. Illyes

YORK – Joshua Allen Illyes, 43, of York, passed away, Saturday, July 27, 2024, at his home in York.

 Joshua was born October 22, 1980, and was the son of Earl E. Illyes and stepmother, Nancy Illyes and the late Sylvia A. (Harris) Illyes.

He graduated in 2000 from Northeastern High School in Manchester, PA.  He was employed as a truck driver by Rutters in York, and previously by Giant in Manchester. 

Joshua is the loving father to his children, Simon A. Illyes, and Emmett E. Illyes, Carolina A. Illyes and Lucille T. Illyes, and his brother, Nathan Illyes of Manchester.

His funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  His visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.  His burial will be in Cassels Cemetery in Manchester.  Officiating at his service will be Reverend Dave Gouak.
