Judith K. Johnston

MOUNT WOLF – Judith K. (Wood) Johnston, 73, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Lancaster General Hospital.   She was the wife of the late Jeffrey M. Johnston.

Judith was born January 29, 1950, in Trenton, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Elliot) Wood.

She graduated in 1968 from Morrisville High School in Morrisville, PA.  Judith continued her education by graduating from Millersville University in 1972 and later with a master’s in education.  She taught in the Hempfield School District for over 20 years at Farmdale Elementary before retiring in 2007.

Judith is survived by her sons, Scott Johnston and his wife Staci of Mount Wolf, PA, and Michael Johnston and his wife Hannah of CO; five grandchildren, Elisha, Abigail, Sofia, Olivia and Elle; and her brother, Jeffrey Wood of CO.

Judy’s family and friends were her pride and joy; her memory will live on through them.

Services for Judith will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
