Kenneth W. Updegraff

MOUNT WOLF – Kenneth W. Updegraff, 77, of Mount Wolf, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at UPMC Community General Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.  He was the husband of Karen (Ernst) Updegraff whom he married 55 years ago on January 4, 1969.

Kenneth was born June 30, 1947, in York and was the son of the late Roy and Ruth (Adams) Updegraff.

He graduated in 1966 from Northeastern Senior High School in Manchester, PA.  He was employed by Stewart and March for over 30 years and later with Kinsley Construction, both of York.  He attended York Church of Christ in York.

In addition to his wife, Karen, Kenneth is survived by his two sons, Keith S. Updegraff and Kevin Updegraff both of Mount Wolf, his granddaughter, Haley Updegraff of Mount Wolf and his sister, Wanda Wayne of Brownstown, PA.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Updegraff.

Kenneth's memorial service will begin at 5:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  His visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.  His burial will be private.  Officiating at his service will be Pastor James E. Winter, Sr.
