YORK – Kristina Faye (Meadows) Nelson, 74, of York, passed away, Monday, May 15, 2023, at her home.  She was the wife of George Wayne Nelson.

Mrs. Nelson was born January 31, 1949, in Charleston, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Marlin and Margaret (Mullins) Meadows.

She graduated in 1967, from Sherman High School in Seth, West Virginia.  She was employed as a Payroll Manager at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly, Maryland.  She was a member of the Light House Baptist Church in Dover, PA.

In addition to her husband, Wayne, Kristina is survived by her son, Christopher Nelson of York, her sister, Joan Harris of York, and her brother, Joseph Meadow, of Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Lena Mae Meadows, her brothers, William Meadows, and Robert Meadows, and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Kristina will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 19, 2023, at Quickel’s Cemetery in Conewago Township, York.  Officiating at her service will be her pastor, Sterling Walsh from Light House Baptist Church in Dover.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, of Mount Wolf.
