Larry Lee Brenneman
YORK – Larry Lee Brenneman, 88 of York, formerly of Mount Wolf, passed away, Thursday, July 16, 2025, at Senior Commons in York. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Doll) Brenneman whom he had been married to for 68 years.
Larry was born March 31, 1937, in York and was the son of the late Clarence and Treva (Smeltzer) Brenneman.
He graduated in 1955 from Manchester Senior High School in Manchester, Pa. He retired from Wolf Tool and Machine after 35 years of employment, following his retirement he was the Mount Wolf Borough Maintenance Manager. He was a member of the Susquehanna Lions Club in Mount Wolf, and he was a Scout Master. He was a member of Otterbein Church in Mount Wolf where he sang on the church choir. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Larry is survived by his son, Michael Brenneman of Mount Joy, PA, and his granddaughter, Meghan Brenneman. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Pam Brenneman, his sisters, Grace Bourasaw, Betty Seiple, Norma Spangler, and Alma Fry, and his nephew Robert Brenneman.
His funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. His viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. His burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Officiating at his service will be his pastor Reverend Mark Zortman from Otterbein Church in Mount Wolf, PA. The York County Veterans Honor Guard will provide full honors at the graveside.
