Leon L. Leland

YORK – Leon L. Leland, 90, of York, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at his home in Autumn House East, York, PA.  He was the husband of Lois (Bupp) Leland whom he married 72 years ago on December 19, 1953.

Mr. Leland was born November 29, 1934, in Hellam, PA and was the son of the late Elmer Leland, Sr.and Elsie (Weir) Leland.

He was employed by K & E Auto Parts in York for several years before retiring.  Mr. Leland proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife Lois, Mr. Leland is survived by his sons, Tim Leland and his wife, Charleen, Tom Leland and his wife Bambi, Todd Leland and his wife Elizabeth, and Shawn Leland and his wife Mindy; three grandchildren; his sister, Sonia Ness and his half-brother, Rodney Matthews.  Mr. Leland was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer Leland, Jr, John Leland, and Robert Leland.

A memorial service for Mr. Leland will be announced in the future.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
