Leon J. Richcreek, Jr.

MANCHESTER – Leon J. Richcreek, Jr. 73 of Manchester, PA passed away, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at his home in Manchester, PA.  He was the wife of Marlene (Falkenstein) Richcreek whom he married 51 years ago on June 26, 1975.

Leon was born on July 16, 1953, in York, PA and was the son of the late Leon Richcreek, Sr. and Theda (Leggore) Richcreek.

He attended York Vo Tech in York and retired as a truck driver from Brothers Trucking in 2024.  He attended Refuge Baptist Church in Lewisberry, PA.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

In addition to his wife, Leon is survived by his sons, Jay Richcreek and his wife Kim and Stephen Patterson and his wife Kara, his daughter, Kristy Axe and her husband Larry; six grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, Conner, Shannon, Jordan, Octavia, one great grandson, Malachi, one great grandson on the way, his sisters, Shirley Lehman and her husband Nelson, Dottie Hetrick and her partner Brad Zirkle, and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Costley.

His funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 7, 2026, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. His viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.  His burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.  Officiating at the service will be Pastor Brian King. Military honors will be provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
