Lesa A. Litsinger

YORK – Lesa A. (Jordan) Litsinger, 62, of York, passed away, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at York Hospital.  She was the wife of Jeffery Litsinger of York.

Lesa was born October 26, 1960, in York and was the daughter of Lois (Kohr) Jordan and the late Lester “Zip” Jordan.

She graduated in 1978 from Central York High School in York.  She was employed by Northeastern School District before retiring in 2022.  Previously she was employed in her family business, Jordan’s Super Thrift in Manchester.  Lesa had a great love of baking.  She baked cakes for 34 years for friends, family, and other members of the community. Lesa and her cakes, especially her famous chocolate peanut butter cake, will be greatly missed!

In addition to her husband, Lesa is survived by her daughter, Melanie Litsinger and her husband, Robert Besnoska of York, her sisters, Penny Jensen of FL, Machelle Gerber and her husband, Chuck of York, and her brothers, Lester Jordan and his wife, Claire of Mount Wolf, and Dave Jordan and his wife, Lucy of York.  Lesa is also survived by four nephews, Christian Jordan and his wife, Vanessa of Etters, Tony Jordan and his wife, Michelle of York, Kyle Gerber and his wife, Jillian of AZ, and Jordan Jensen of TX: four nieces, Rachael Scott of Dover, Lesley Jordan of Mount Wolf, Stephanie Jensen of FL, and Madison Stough and her husband, Adam of MO, and eleven great nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 31, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  Her visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home.  Officiating at her service will be Reverend Chuck Sprenkle.
