YORK – Linda Faye (Haas) Johnson, 82, of York, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at York Hospital.  She was the wife of Dale R. Johnson who she married 64 years ago on July 8, 1960.

Linda was born July 31, 1941, in York and was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Benedict) Haas.

She graduated in 1959 from Northeastern Senior High School in Manchester, PA.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in York.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by daughter, Beth Ann Dunlap and her husband Melvin of Dover, and her three grandchildren, Greg, Lydia, Wesley.  She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Johnson and her sister, Kay Miles.

Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Her viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Wednesday at the funeral Home. Her burial will be in Quickels Cemetery.  Officiating at her service will be her pastor Reverend Kevin Stout from Zion Lutheran Church in York.
