Mark E. Notbohm
NEW CUMBERLAND – Mark Edward Notbohm, 74, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at his home.
Mark was born October 29, 1947, in Appleton, Wisconsin and was the son of the late Willard and Delores (Derricks) Notbohm.
He graduated in 1966 from Watertown High School in Watertown, New York and in 1968 from Paul Smiths College, Paul Smith, New York. He was employed for 4 years as an Optician with Dr. Lindsey Family Vision and later spent 25 years as a truck Driver with Preston Trucking in Emigsville, PA, before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Mason Dixon Flyers, Experiment Aircraft Dillsburg Region, New Cumberland V.F.W. #7415, and was with the Lewisberry Boys Scout Troup 284 for 23 years. He was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in New Cumberland. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Mark is survived by his sons, William E. Notbohm and his wife Denise of Waterford, VA and Andrew D. Notbohm and his wife Andrea of Jackson, MS; 2 grandchildren and his sister, Julie Maloney of Rochester, NY. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ellen Warren.
A graveside service will begin at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2022, at Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, PA. Officiating at his service will be Chaplain Bruce D. Farrell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
