Martin E. Stoll, Sr.

YORK – Martin “Mike” E. Stoll, Sr., 86 of York, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.  He was the husband of Margaret (Delp) Stoll who he married 64 years ago on July 27, 1957.

Mike was born May 17, 1935, in Wellsville, PA., and was the son of the late Robert and Flora (Crisamore) Stoll.

He retired in 2002 from Henkels & McCoy in telecommunications.  Previously employed by Verizon. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army 3rd Armored Division in Germany.  He served from 1958-1960.

In addition to his wife, Margaret, Mike is survived by his son, Martin “Mike” E. Stoll, Jr. and his wife Keri of Dover; his daughters, Sharon Stoll of York and Deb Dennison and her husband Quinn of York; 4 grandchildren; 3 Step Grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his brothers, Dave Stoll of Wellsville and Jim Stoll of Manchester and his sisters, Mary Lehman of York and Loretta Lebo of Manchester.  Mike was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Stoll, Orville Stoll and Charles Stoll.

His funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  Viewing will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.  Officiating at his service will be Sal Buonocore from Dover Bethany United Methodist Church.   Full military honors will be provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
