York Haven – Mary Jane (Bowers) Hanna, 76 of York Haven, passed away, Friday, January 12, 2024, at the home of her son in Reading.  She was the wife of the late Marlet E. Hanna, Sr. who passed away January 21, 2020.

Mary was born October 9, 1947, in York and was the daughter of the late Charles and Gerlinda (Wilt) Bowers.

She was employed by Bernhaven Sewing Factory in Mount Wolf before retiring from Ty Industries in North York. 

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Anderson of York Haven, PA; her sons, Marlet E. Hanna, Jr. and his companion, Kim Emerson of Reading, PA, and Jeff Hanna and his wife Lisa of Red Lion, PA; four grandchildren, Brandon Hanna, Justin Anderson, Ashley Anderson, and Sierra Anderson; two great grandsons, Carson Hanna and Zyaire Whack, and her sister-in-law, Florence Bowers of Etters.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Bowers.

Funeral services and burial for Mary will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
