Maryemma H. Londis

DOVER – Maryemma H. (McCarty) Londis, passed away, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Providence Place in Dover, PA.  She was the wife of the late Donald Daugherty and Louis Londis.

Maryemma was born August 23, 1940, in Muncy, PA and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Martha McCarty.

She graduated from Hughesville High School in Hughesville, PA.  She was formerly employed by R.S. Noonan, York, PA, Roosevelt Tavern, York, PA, and Charter Fabrics in New York City.  She was a former member of Advent Lutheran Church in York.

Maryemma is survived by her sons, Mark Daugherty and his wife Tammy of Mount Wolf, PA, and David Daugherty and his partner, Brian of York; two grandchildren, Heather, and Steven and her great granddaughter, Madison.  Maryemma was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Bryan, and Doris Hartinger.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Picture Rocks Baptist Church, 50 Elm Street, Picture Rocks, PA.  Her burial will be private in Muncy Cemetery, Muncy, PA.  Officiating at her service will be Pastor, Jerry Uppling.  A luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall of the church.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
