DOVER – Michael W. Guyer, 68, of Dover, passed away, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at York Hospital.

Michael was born March 30, 1954, in York and was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Leonard) Guyer.

He was a member of Stillmeadow Church of The Nazarene of York. Michael enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, fishing, playing cards, puzzles, activities with Arc and especially spending time with his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his brothers, Mark Guyer and his wife Sonia of York and Gregg Guyer and his wife Amy of York; his sister-in-law, Debbie Guyer of TX; nieces, Sarah and Lauren nephews, Joshua, Evan and Owen; one great niece, Kami and 2 great nephews, Alex and Konnor.  He was preceded in death by his brother, David Guyer.

Michael’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitations will be Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and Thursday, 10:00 to 11:00 AM both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. Officiating at his service will be Pastor James Winter.
