Michael D. Lingg
YORK – Michael D. Lingg, 62, of York, passed away, Friday, April 17, 2026. He was the husband of Tammy L. (Trimmer) Lingg whom he married 36 years ago on March 17, 1990.
Michael was born on January 22, 1964, in York, PA and is the son of David and Linda (Forry) Lingg of York, PA.
He graduated in 1981 from Central York High School, York, PA. He was employed by Wolf Pak Transportation and Harley Davidson Motor Company as a truck driver. He was a member of the 13th Ward Political Club; Hawks Gunning Club, Starview Sportsmen’s Association and he was an avid hunter. He attended LCBC in York, PA and was a former member of Quickel Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his sons, Kyle Lingg and his wife, Sarah and Tyler Lingg and his wife, Gina both of York, PA; four grandchildren, Amelia, Harrison, River, and Archer, and his brother, Kevin Lingg of York. Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Kristine LeStourgen.
Michael’s memorial service will begin at 5:00 PM, Friday, May 1, 2026, at Alert Fire Company, 3118 North George Street, Emigsville, PA. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, Friday at the fire hall. His burial will be private. Officiating at his service will be Matt McGregor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
