MANCHESTER - It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Nolan Earl Myers, age 33. He passed away at Harrisburg Hospital after a long courageous battle of a long-term illness. He fought so bravely, with so much love on his side, but moves onto his second life with peace and Carl Thomas Dean to await the arrival of the queen herself, Dolly Parton. With his beloved puppy Dolly and his season pass to Dollywood, Nolan will be riding his favorite roller coasters and sending his love down to everyone until they can meet him again.

Nolan’s time with us left an impression that he will never be forgotten and forever loved. He touched lives in every place he traveled to and visited. From Florida, working at Disney then moving to Universal Studios, visiting Dollywood every summer, to Hershey Park making his way up to a supervisor, Target, and being Buc-ees number one customer. He loved the thrill of amusement parks and riding roller coasters most people would be too afraid to stand in line for with a bag of Buc-ees beaver nuts in hand.

Nolan was a graduate of Northeastern High School, class of 2010. He graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Arts in 2016. Nolan’s survived by his mother, Gail Salisbury-Myers and his father, Donald Myers Sr.  They send Nolan with so much love and a little bit of pocket money for his beaver nuts. He is also survived by his brother Donald Myers Jr. and wife, Lyndsay Myers along with his nieces Genevieve, Charlotte, Savannah, and his nephew Ryder, whom he loved to pieces and supplied all the sugar and bad advice to drive his brother and sister-in-law crazy. Nolan is also survived by an army of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who held a place so close to his heart.

Nolan will be missed by many and touched so many lives along his journey. If you ever miss him and want to feel close, go outside at night and find the star that sparkles the most and remember the memories you have with Nolan and the amazing man, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend he was.

His memorial service will begin at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 4360 Board Road, Manchester, PA.  A visitation and time of remembrance will follow the service Saturday at the church.  Officiating at the service will be Reverend Tammy Blose.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.

In lieu of flowers, Nolan would request everyone to find the closest amusement park and ride a rollercoaster in his honor or make a donation to American Foundation for Children with AIDS, 1520 Greening Lane, Harrisburg, PA. 17110..
