Norma Jean Diehl
YORK – Norma Jean (Schroll) Diehl, 94, of York, passed away, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, Sprenkle Drive in York. She was the wife of the late Robert T. Diehl who passed away, May 11, 2007.
Mrs. Diehl was born May 2, 1929, in Emigsville, PA, and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Florence (Gross) Schroll.
She graduated in 1947 from North York High School in North York Borough. She was employed by the National Biscuit Company and later by the York Trust Company for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Emigsville where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Choir Director, served on the Church Council, and was a pianist and organist.
Mrs. Diehl is survived by her stepdaughters, Peggy Mann and her husband David of Houston, TX, Patsy Morse and her husband Thomas of Bryan, TX; Sue Diehl of The Woodlands, TX and Joyce Daniels and her husband Howard of Mount Wolf; three step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.
Her funeral service will be Friday, July 14, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. Her viewing will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home. Her burial will be in Manchester Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester. Officiating at her service will be her pastor, Reverend Jason Northridge.

We also thank Grane Hospice of York for the love and care they provided to Norma & her family for the five months of comfort care.
