Orville E. Heinbaugh
MANCHESTER – Orville E. Heinbaugh, 90, of Manchester, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his home in Manchester, PA. He was the husband of Nancy C. (Dunbar) Heinbaugh whom he married 66 years ago on July 18, 1959.
Orville was born September 22, 1934, in Somerset, PA and was the son of the late Orville and Estelle (Cramer) Heinbaugh.
He graduated in 1952 from Rockwood Senior High School in Rockwood, PA. He was employed by York International for 38 years before retiring in 1992. He and his wife also own Country Closet. He was a member of the York Archers Club and was a lifetime member of Starview United Methodist Church in Starview where he served on the grounds and maintenance committee for the church. Orville proudly served his country in the United States Army.
In addition to his wife, Orville is survived by his son, James Heinbaugh and his wife Michele of York Haven, PA; his daughter, Amy Kessler of Manchester, PA; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Heinbaugh; his brothers, James and Gail Heinbaugh and his sister, Jane.
His burial and graveside service will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday July 3, 2025, in Rockwood Cemetery in Rockwood, PA. Military Honors will be held at his graveside service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
