Patricia A. Sheaffer 

MOUNT WOLF – Patricia A. (Fries) Sheaffer, 80, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Wellspan Surgical and Rehabilitation Center in York.  She was the wife of the late Melvin “Boobie” E. Sheaffer who passed away August 5, 2006.

Patricia was born May 24, 1942, in Mount Wolf and was the daughter of the late Melvin and Ruth (Hartman) Fries.

She graduated in 1960 from Northeastern High School in Manchester, and attended York College in York.  She was employed for over 30 years with New York Wire Cloth in Mount Wolf.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Debra Krebs and her husband Kevin of Mount Wolf and Jody Myers and her husband, Phil of York; her son, Terry Sheaffer and his wife Sandy of West York; three grandchildren, Matthew Krebs, Tessa Myers and her husband Steven, and Chad Krebs and his wife Amber; her sister Peggy Schweitzer of Mount Wolf, and her brother, Ronald Fries of York.

Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Her visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.  Entombment will be in Manchester Union Cemetery in Manchester.  Officiating at her service will be Jamie Zirkle.
