Phyllis M. Grim

EMIGSVILLE – Phyllis M. (Wherley) Grim, 93, of Emigsville, passed away January 2, 2023, at the home of her granddaughter in Mount Juliet, TN.  She was married for 70 years to the late Samuel S. Grim who passed away on November 13, 2017.

Mrs. Grim was born August 26, 1929, in Emigsville, PA and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mae (Bruaw) Wherley.

She graduated in 1947, from Central York High School in North York.  She retired from AMP Incorporated after many years of employment.  She was a member of the former St. Mark Lutheran Church in Emigsville.

Mrs. Grim is survived by her granddaughter, Heather Rohlmeier and her husband Michael of Mount Juliet, TN and her great grandson, Evan Michael Rohlmeier.  She was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Stephen S. Grim and her sister, Evelyn Winters.

Services and burial for Mrs. Grim will be private.   She will be interred next to her husband in Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
