Randy Lee Cutler

Randy Lee Cutler, age 62, of Mount Wolf, PA, entered heaven on Friday September 2, 2022, after a few years of chronic illness. Randy was born on January 16, 1960, son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Bupp) Cutler of Stewartstown. He graduated from Kennard-Dale High School class of 1978 and was previously employed by Montgomery Ward, and was a manager at Scrivner/Flemming from 1985-2003. Randy was a member of Living Word Community Church (LWCC) for the last 30 years. He had a passion for helping the less fortunate, and started a non-profit, Compassion York, where he prepared and served hot meals to the downtown York Community for many years. He was also active with many AA groups in the area and acted as a mentor for those seeking sobriety.  

Randy leaves behind his beloved wife, Virginia Dimaculangan, whom he would have celebrated 3 years of marriage with on October 17. He is survived by his only daughter, Amanda Shaffer, and her husband Cory, of York. His pride and joy were his grandchildren- Colin, Ryann, Isla, Brady, Aidan, and Cooper. He was so proud of all of them and knew how to make them laugh. He would brag about his grandchildren to anyone who would listen.  

Randy embraced his country roots and cherished time spent on the farm. You could always catch him whistling a tune, and there was no such thing as strangers-he talked to everyone. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, having worked part-time at PADE and Manheim auto auctions after an early retirement. Auctions and yard sales were something he did nearly every week, as well as eating breakfast at his favorite diners in York.  

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Rd, Red Lion, PA 17356. Visitation will be 1030-11, with the service following at 11 am. The church asks that you park in the back and enter through door #7.
