Raymond B. Knudsen
MANCHESTER – Raymond B. Knudsen, 95, of Manchester, passed away, Friday, March 14, 2025, at his home in Manchester, PA. He was the husband of the late Nancy C. (Loker) Knudsen who passed away on March 24, 1987.
Mr. Knudsen was born on March 22, 1929, in Etters, PA and was the son of the late Roy and Margaret (Toomey) Knudsen.
He was employed by International Paper Company in York Haven, PA and later Yorktowne Paper Company in York, PA before retiring. He was a life member of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf, and a life member of the North American Fishing and Hunting Club. Mr. Knudsen proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Infantry during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954.
Mr. Knudsen is survived by his son, Stephen Knudsen and his wife, Carol of Manchester, PA; two granddaughters, Tasya and Amy and two great grandchildren, Erik and Riley, and his brother Keith Knudsen of Mechanicsburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Knudsen and Orvis “Orv” Knudsen, and his sisters, Judith Reed, Daisy Keister and Connie Whitebread.
His service will be private. His burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
