Richard L. Hendrickson
HANOVER – Richard L. Hendrickson, 76 of Hanover, PA passed away, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of Wanda L. (Harris) Hendrickson whom he married 57 years ago on June 16, 1968.
Richard was born on September 24, 1949, in Hagerstown, MD and was the son of the late George Hendrickson, Sr. and Elizabeth (Moore) Hendrickson.
He was employed as a mechanic and later a supervisor by Harley Davidson Motor Company for 42 years before retiring in 2010. He was a former member and Deacon at Ambassadors Bible Chapel in Manchester, PA.
In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his daughters, Tammy Eberly of York and Marcie Anderson and her husband, Barry of York; three grandchildren, Carleigh Bos (Zach), Brady Anderson (Gretchen), and Kendyl Eberly; one great grandchild, Mira and one great grandchild on the way, Bella, and his sisters, Sharon Bostic of Starview, PA and Donna Gladfelter of Mount Wolf, PA. He was preceded in death by his brothers, George W. Hendrickson, Jr. and Paul Hendrickson, and his sister, Phyllis Adams.
His funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. His visitation will be from 11:00 to 11:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. His burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery in York, PA.
