WRIGHTSVILLE – Rick L. Lauer, 69, of Wrightsville, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at Autumn House West in York.

Rick was born January 4, 1953, in York and was the son of the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Bupp) Lauer.

He graduated from Central High School in York and Catawba College in North Carolina.  He retired as an Analytical Chemist with Battelle Memorial Institute.

Rick is survived by his brother, Michael Lauer and his wife Kelly of York, and his nieces, Ashley Donnelly and her husband Nick, Rebecca Anderson and her husband Mike, and great nephews Levi, Drew, and Myles.

Rick’s funeral service and burial will be private.  He will be buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
