YORK HAVEN – Ricky “Rick” L. Peterson, 62, of York Haven, passed away, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.  He was the loving husband of Heather (Holloway) Peterson whom he married 22 years ago on May 22, 1999.

Rick was born August 12, 1959, in Meadville, PA., and was the son of the late Milton Gene and Linda (Brown) Peterson.

He graduated in 1977 from Cochranton High School in Cochranton, PA. and later from Electronics Institute of Pittsburgh with an AA in Electronics.  He was a Mason with Lowther Manor Lodge #781 F & A Masons and Starview United Church of Christ in Mount Wolf, PA. 

In addition to his wife, Heather, Rick is survived by his niece, Nia “Spricket”, his brother-in-law Harry Holloway and his sister-in-law, Amelia Holloway.

His funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, December 20, 2021, at the funeral home and Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Hoover’s Cemetery.  Officiating at the service will be his pastor Reverend Laura Bair.
