Robert E. Clipp

EMIGSVILLE – Robert E. Clipp, 77, of Emigsville, passed away, Sunday, March 27, 2022, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Ella L. (McKeever) Clipp.

Robert was born October 25, 1944, in Lemoyne and was the son of the late Eugene and Elma (Baker) Clipp.

He graduated from Red Land High School in 1962. He was employed for over 25 years with Berg/FCI Electronics in Emigsville. He was a member of the Masonic Zeradatha Lodge #451, Shriners, Scottish Rite, York Tall Cedars of Lebanon #30, Hawks Club, and the Vikings Club. He was an avid wood worker, volunteered frequently for Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia and was a competitive black powder silhouette shooter. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Emigsville.

In addition to his wife, Ella, Robert is survived by five children, five grandchildren and one sister.

His service will begin at 11;00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Officiating at his service will be Reverend Dr. Eddie, D. D. Miller.
