MOUNT WOLF – Robert M. Kolinsky, 78, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Sunday, September 18, 2022, at his home in Mount Wolf.  He was the husband of Sonya (Sorace) Kolinsky who he married 55 years ago on June 24, 1967.

Mr. Kolinsky was born August 17, 1944, in Chester PA and was the son of the late John Matthew Kolinsky and Ellen (Stokley) Kolinsky.

He was employed by the United States Postal Service in Concord, CA retiring in 2005 after 15 years of service and previously worked for Macaulay Foundry in Berkley, CA.  Mr. Kolinsky enjoyed watching sports. He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Mission in York.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his sons, Jason Kolinsky of Concord, CA, John Kolinsky of El Reno, OK; his daughter, Stacie Fernandez of Windsor, PA; sixteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his stepbrother, Thomas Ambrosino and his sisters, Stella, Kate, Betty, Terry, and his twin sister Barbara.

His funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 23, 2022, at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Mission, 129 South Beaver Street, York, PA. Viewings will be Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf and Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.  Officiating at the service will be Father Samuel M. Waters.  Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery in York.  York County Veterans Honor Guard will provide Honors at the graveside.
