Robert S. Leber

YORK – Robert S. Leber 35, of York, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Wellspan York Hospital.  He was the partner of Douglass Rexroad for eight and half years.

Robert was born in York on December 1, 1989, and was the son of Joanna M. (Smith) Creager and Michael Creager and the late Richard E. Leber, Jr.

He graduated in 2008 from Northeastern Senior High School in Manchester, PA and later from Yorktowne Business Institute with a degree in culinary arts.  He was an executive chef for Paddock Restaurant in East York.  He previously was a chef for Conewago Inn and the Wago Club.

In addition to his partner, mother, and stepdad, Robert is survived by his daughter, Jasmine E. Leber, his sister, Brittany Creager of Enola, PA, and his grandparents, Dick and Judy (Hoover) Leber of Seven Valleys, PA.

His funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  His viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.  His burial will be in Hoover’s Cemetery in (Starview) Mount Wolf.  Officiating at the service will be Pastor Bob Tome from Genesis Church.
