Robert E. Morehead

MOUNT WOLF – Robert E. Morehead, 83, of Mount Wolf, PA. passed away, Friday, May 29, 2026, at his home in Mount Wolf.  He was the husband of Mona L. (Weyant) Morehead.

Robert was born on May 14, 1943, in Hanover, PA and was the son of the late Henry and Kathleen (Bowers) Morehead.

He was employed as a Machine Operator by Caterpillar Tractor Company in York.  He was a member of Pleasureville American Legion Post # 799 and the Victory Athletic Club.  Robert was also a member of the PA Army National Guard, where he was honorably discharged on May 03, 1970.

In addition to his wife, Mona, Robert is survived by his brothers, Ronald Morehead, Terry Morehead, Keith Morehead and many nephews and nieces.  Robert was known as “Pappy Bob” to his nephew Matt and niece Katelyn.  Bob and Mona were very influential and important in their lives.  He was preceded in death by his brothers James and Steve.

Robert’s services and burial will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
