Rose Mary (Schneider) Trimmer

YORK – Rose Mary (Schneider) Trimmer, 72, of York, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at UPMC Memorial in York.  She was the wife of Daniel W. Trimmer who she married 34 years ago on June 20, 1986.

Rose Mary was born April 20, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Weinreich) Schneider.

She was employed at various times by Black and Decker, Caterpillar and Starbucks.  She was a member of the Liberty Social Club in North York.  She loved animals especially cats.  She enjoyed gardening and taking care of flowers.

In addition to her husband, Daniel, Rose Mary is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Phipps and Tammy White both of York; Step daughters Lisa Grim of Dover, Caryn Harlacher of Dallastown; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Bretta Bittner and her brothers, George Schneider, Elmer Schneider and Morris Schneider.

Services and burial for Rose Mary will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
