Ruthanna Dahlheimer

ELIZABETHTOWN – Ruthanna (Brenneman) Dahlheimer, 99, of Elizabethtown, formerly of York, passed away, Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.  She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Dahlheimer who passed away April 5, 2020.

Mrs. Dahlheimer was born June 27, 1923, in York and was the daughter of the late Roy and Hazel (Wilson) Brenneman.

She graduated in 1941, from Manchester High School in Manchester, PA.  She was a member of the Eastern Star #169 and Grace Lutheran Church, (Roundtown), York.

Mrs. Dahlheimer is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ensminger and her husband, Robert of York; her son, Stephen Dahlheimer of York; four grandsons, Matthew Dahlheimer, Patrick Dahlheimer, Mark Ensminger, Kirk Ensminger; five great grandchildren, Breanna, Marley, Willow, Evan and Reid and her sister, Marjorie Pokopec-Gerhart of York.  Mrs. Dahlheimer was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Wagner and her brother, Roy Brenneman.

Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.  Officiating at the service will be her pastor, Reverend Jason Northridge.
